                               Reunion Giving Chair/Co-Chair

The Reunion Giving Chair/Co-Chair, during the Reunion year in which she has agreed to serve, is
responsible for the organization and management of a class campaign to raise unrestricted gifts
for the Annual Fund. She works closely with Development staff to set and achieve class goals. In
addition, she provides leadership for her class and promotes enthusiasm about Sweet Briar, and
Reunion in particular.

Her specific responsibilities include:
1. Give a leadership gift to Sweet Briar’s Annual Fund at the beginning of the Reunion year to
      encourage 100 percent participation of all Committee Members
2. Recruit five to ten members of her class to serve on the class Reunion Giving Committee.
3. Participate in a volunteer training session.
4. Encourage all committee members to participate in a volunteer training session.
5. Solicit Reunion Giving Committee members for gifts to the Annual Fund by September 1.
6. Attend, and encourage others to attend, Homecoming Weekend (September 25-28).
7. Identify potential leadership donors in her class and solicit these classmates for
    Annual Fund gifts or assign them to members of the Reunion Giving Committee.
8. Promote enthusiasm for and attendance at Reunion Weekend by all classmates.
9. Attend Reunion Weekend 2009 (May 22-24).



                             Reunion Giving Committee Member

The Reunion Giving Committee as a whole works with the Reunion Giving Chair(s) for the class in
soliciting all classmates for unrestricted Annual Fund gifts.

Each committee member solicits six to ten classmates as determined by the Reunion Giving Chair
in consultation with Development staff and committee members. The ideal committee member
serves as an example and provides leadership in contributing to the Annual Fund. She is
enthusiastic about Sweet Briar, and Reunion in particular, encouraging every classmate to
participate.

Her specific responsibilities include:
1. Give a leadership gift to Sweet Briar’s Annual Fund at the beginning of the Reunion year to
     encourage 100 percent participation of all Committee Members.
2. Participate in a volunteer training session.
3. Attend Homecoming Weekend (September 25-28).
4. Solicit classmates for Annual Fund gifts in honor of their Reunion.
5. Encourage classmates to participate in the campaign by contributing to the Annual
   Fund at any level so that the class may reach 100% participation.
6. Promote enthusiasm for and attendance at Reunion Weekend by all classmates.
7. Attend Reunion Weekend 2009 (May 22-24).
