The
Position:
Our
new
web
developer
will
be
responsible
for
developing
new
features,
working
on
scalability
and
performance
projects,
and
other
suitable
development
tasks.
This
person
will
be
a
key
player
on
the
development
team
in
the
planning
and
programming
of
features
critical
to
our
web
application.
We’re
looking
for
a
candidate
that
loves
to
write
code,
and
perhaps
has
an
eye
for
design.
This
position
will
report
directly
to
the
CTO.
Qualifications
and
Assets:
• A
degree
or
diploma
in
Computer
Science
• At
least
2
years
experience
using
Ruby,
Python,
PHP,
or
other
scripting
language
on
the
web
–
either
professionally
or
on
personal
projects
• The
ability
to
take
initiative,
learn,
solve
problems,
and
work
with
minimal
supervision
• Passion
for
sports
Responsibilities:
• Produce
high‐quality
Ruby,
JavaScript,
and
other
code
as
needed
• Craft
CSS
and
HTML
to
produce
good‐looking
standards
compliant
web
pages
• SQL
experience,
preferably
with
MySQL
• System
administration
tasks
as
required
