First Priority Health Updates First Priority Health® Announces Fee Schedule Adjustments
On an annual basis, First Priority Health evaluates its standard fee schedule for possible adjustments. First Priority Health will be increasing the standard fee schedule for the sixth consecutive year, effective for services provided on or after July 1, 2006. These adjustments are a continuation of a multi-year plan to balance the need for reasonable provider reimbursement and affordable health care for our members in northeastern and north central Pennsylvania. In aggregate, all specialties will be receiving an increase. Primary Care Physicians – Increases will be made to several of the capitation age cells. The PCP Billable Listing will be updated in conjunction with the fee schedule change. Code-specific and capitation cell information can be obtained by contacting your Provider Relations Consultant. Our 2007 annual fee schedule review is scheduled to occur within our customary July time frame.
