Collette Vacations Adds New U.S. Programs

New England to San Diego debut.

Pawtucket, Rhode Island (October 14, 2009)…Collette Vacations, the oldest major US
tour operator, unveils four new programs for the U.S. which are detailed in its recently launched
2010-2011 USA & Canada brochure and predicts company’s perennial favorite National Parks
tour will see boost from Ken Burns newest six-part documentary, “The National Parks:
America’s Best Idea” airing on PBS. Destinations visited within the U.S. include New England and
its islands, New York, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Alaska, Chicago, Mackinac Island,
Montana, Missouri, South Carolina, Georgia, California, Texas, Hawaii, New Orleans, Tennessee,
Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, and Las
Vegas. Destinations Collette visits in Canada include New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince
Edward Island, Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Newfoundland, Labrador,
Vancouver, Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, Calgary, and Edmonton.

“Whether they want to spend discretionary dollars to help the economy at home, want
to see some of the spectacular sights right here in their own backyard, or can’t travel for too
long a period, many North Americans are traveling closer to home – and those who are doing
this are even taking a couple more trips a year,” says Dan Sullivan, president and CEO, Collette
Vacations. “Many of our domestic tours are getaways which are convenient for travelers on
many levels and with Collette’s inclusive tours, clients get outstanding value and can budget
effectively.”
Collette’s itineraries are designed for the mature market, namely baby boomers ages
55+ with experiences crafted specifically for this market segment. One such popular experience
has been train journeys and for 2010, Collette introduces the Trains & Canyons of the
Southwest itinerary. This 9-day tour with a starting at rate of $1999 per person, double, land
only, covers Arizona and New Mexico and features the resort towns of Scottsdale, Sedona, and
Santa Fe. Rides aboard the historic Grand Canyon Railway and vintage Verde Canyon Railroad
that rolls past ancient Indian ruins, over trestles and through tunnels make for unforgettable
experiences.

On another new tour, passengers will have the opportunity to soak up the sun in the
desert town of Palm Springs, wander the gardens on San Diego's Coronado Island, and witness
the glimmering lights of the Las Vegas Strip on A Southern California & Vegas Adventure
itinerary starting at $1,799 per person, double, land only.

There's also a 9-day The Heart of Texas tour that visits the Lone Star cities of Austin,
Dallas, and San Antonio and features a day at an authentic dude ranch and a wine tour and
tasting (starting at rate is $1649 per person, double, land only) and on the New England’s
Yuletide Treasures holiday tour, your clients will explore historic Boston, a village nestled in the
White Mountains of New Hampshire, and the chic seaside resort of Newport, Rhode Island, each
uniquely adorned for the holiday season. This 6-day itinerary starts at $1,199 per person,
double, land only.
