Committee of Water Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of
Kazakhstan, Akimat of Zhambyl oblast, JSC “KazAgroInnovation”, Dulati State
University in Taraz and Regional Ecologic Center in Central Asia is organizin
International research– practical conference “Modern perspectives of using natural-
resource potential of transboundary rivers in Central Asia” in Taraz, Kazakhstan
during November 10-12, 2009.
International research–practical conference is dedicated to intergovernmental
rational water resources usage and protection, integrated management of
transboundary rivers, international legal regulation of usage and protection of
It is expected to discus on the conference the following issues:
1. Interaction of natural and economic system: theoretical approaches and

It is stipulated to publish conference materials and organize city tour (for foreigners).
Organization fee for the materials’ publication is KZT 3000 and should be paid to the
bank requisites below.
Working languages are – Kazakh, Russian, English.
Persons Interested in taking part at the conference should not later than October
20, 2009 to send to the Conference Organizational Committee the following:
1. completed form;
2. publication materials (printed and electronic version) according to the
requirements indicated below;
3. Copy of payment invoice (organization fee).
The Conference Organizational Committee is reserved the right to select reports
among submitted materials. The late and wrong completed materials would not be
considered. Materials’ texts do not edit and do not return.
The Conference Organizational Committee would inform you about including your
report and conference program before November 1, 2009.
Materials’ requirements for publication
Materials’ volume nor more than 3printed pages, including figures, tables and
literature list. Format – A4, interval -1,5, Times New Roman type, size – 12.
Margin: upper, bottom left -2,5 sm, right – 1,5 sm. On the first page in the center
report’s name (capital letter), after interval- 1, 5 – author’s name, below – the full
organization’s name and the city, then after 2 interval – text. New paragraph indention –
1,5 sm. Literature references in square brackets.
Electronic (online) version of materials should be in Microsoft Word for Windows
or RTF. Illustration – black-and-white, TIFF, JPG, BMP files. Text, tables and figures
should be done available for reproduction without revision.
