                                        Yr 11 Leadership Camp 2009

Dear Parents/Carers,

The St Mary’s College Year 11 Leadership Camp will be held at Alexandra Park, Alexander Headlands
on the 14th, 15th and 16th of October. It is important that all Year 11 students attend because the camp
begins the process of progression into Year 12 and highlights the importance of leadership, working as
a team, spirituality, communication and right relationships. The benefits gained by attending this camp
will ensure a smooth and effective transition into Year 12 as well as unite all students in the cohort
towards common goals.

Camp Details:

Venue:                    Alexandra Park, Uniting Church, Youth and Conference Centre.
                          Ph. 0754438966.
Travel:                   Bus departs St. Mary’s College 7.00 am Wednesday 14th October.
                          Bus returns St. Mary’s College 3.30 pm Friday 16th October.

Cost:                     $210 – covers transport, full accommodation and meals, all activities during the
                          week (not including personal spending money).
Medication:               If any student requires special medication during the camp, it must be
                          administered by staff. Therefore, all medication must be handed to staff on
                          Wednesday prior to departing Maryborough.
Special Diets:            If any student has special dietary requirements, please indicate this on the consent
                          form. Be sure to highlight the foods that you can eat. The cook at the camp will
                          do meals for students with special requirements if given enough notice.

Permission, Medical and Code of Conduct Forms have been attached and should be returned to the
College filled out and signed at the time of payment of the deposit.

Deposit for the camp is $85 and will need to be paid by Friday the 19th of September, with a final
payment of $125 to be paid by Thursday the 8th of October. The total balance can be paid by the 19th of
September if you so wish.
