How do I register for www.djindexes.com? • Select “My Account” => “Register” in the top right corner of www.djindexes.com. • Enter your contact information (first name, last name, email address, and confirmation of email address). Then select “Request a New Account”. • You will receive an email with a link from firstname.lastname@example.org. Copy the link in the email and paste it into a new browser window. • This link will bring you to the New User Profile form. Complete all fields with your contact information, company information, and mailing address. Review the user license agreement and select “I Agree”. Click on Submit. Please note the Submit button will only be available when all required fields have been completed. • You will receive another email from email@example.com with your temporary password. • After signing in with your email address and temporary password, you can change the password by selecting “My Account” => “My Profile” => “Change my password”. Please note that the registration process and your login information are the same for www.djindexes.com and www.djaverages.com. 2. When I click on the link in my email to continue the website registration, I receive an error that says “Expired Verification Link.” If you receive this error, please start the registration process over. Make sure that you copy out the provided URL address and paste into a new browser window. If the link is clicked on more than once it expires. If your second attempt to register results in an expired verification link, your corporate email server may be invalidating the link when scanning for spam. Officially we support Mozilla Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7.x, and Safari (in general we support the current release of these browsers). We also test against Mozilla Firefox 2.x, Internet Explorer 6.x and 8.x, Opera, and Chrome, but some features may not operate as expected. 8. How do I change the email address that I use to log into the website? You are not able to update or change an email address once you have registered for the website. Please sign into your current account, select "My Account" => "My Profile" from the homepage. Choose to "Deactivate my account" from the options on the right. After deactivating your current account, please establish a new account with your preferred email address. (At www.djindexes.com, select "My Account" => "Register" to complete the registration.) 9. How do I retrieve index values for the Dow Jones Industrial Average? After completing the website registration, please use the following steps to access index values: • Click on "Index Data" located on the top horizontal toolbar at www.djaverages.com • Click on "DJ Industrial Average" => “Performance” • If you have not already signed in to the website, you will be prompted to log in • On this page you will see a light-blue box. Check the data sets you would like to retrieve. (Price Return History, Total Return History, Open/High/Low, Theoretical Open/High/Low, and Volume) • Select a frequency • You can manually enter a start or end date, or use the calendar icon to avoid an error • Click "Run Report" • The data will output in the window to the right.
