CHECK LIST OF THINGS TO DO AND THINGS TO BRING What to do before the camp: Be active. Ride your bike if you can! Get your bike checked out and tuned by a professional Get plenty of rest the day before you come to camp Check list of what to bring: BIKE ITEMS: Helmet Bike…in working condition Bike shoes (more than 1 pair if you have extras) or sneakers if you are not riding "clipless" Short sleeved jerseys (bring at least 2, more if you have them)* Padded cycling shorts (bring at least 2, more if you have them)* Arm/Knee warmers if you have them Windbreaker Gloves (2 pairs if you have them) Cycling socks (nylon or other synthetic fabric is better than cotton) Sports bras Sunglasses Hydration pack (camelback, hydrapack, etc.) and/or water bottles Finally, if you have the following, please bring: Spare tube(s) Pump Multi-tool *The more bike clothes you bring, the fewer times you will have to wash them by hand! CLOTHING: (bring several changes of clothes as the weather will vary from hot to cool) Shorts Tee-shirts/tank tops 1 pair long pants Underwear Sweatshirt or jacket Rain jacket Pajamas Hat (for cool mornings/evenings) Bathing suit FOOTWEAR: Sneakers Flip flops (to wear in the shower and around) SLEEPING: Sleeping bag Pillow TOILETRIES: Sunscreen Shampoo/conditioner Soap Deodorant Toothbrush & toothpaste Any medications you take (inhalers, etc.) Towel (please have this stuff contained in 1 bag so it’s easy to carry to the bathroom) OTHER ITEMS: Camera We will provide Clif Bars & Shots but if there are any special snacks you want, you should bring them with you
