					     HOW TO DOWNLOAD A VIDEO CLIP
   1. Right click on the    “d” that is located left of the video clip title.
   2. Choose “Save         Target As”.
   3. Click on the Down Arrow Key in the Save in choice in the dialogue
      box and navigate to where you wish to save the clip. For example, you could save
      to your hard drive in “My Documents” or your home folder on the school
      network, etc.

   4. In theFile Name choice in the dialogue box, type the file name you wish to
      use for your file. (Example “Patrick Henry”)

   5. Click on Save.

 The video clip has been saved and may now be inserted into a presentation
                or word processing document. (See below.)


               HYPERLINK A VIDEO CLIP
     (IN A MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT OR POWERPOINT
                      PRESENTATION)

   1. Highlight the word(s) in your Microsoft Word or PowerPoint presentation that
      you wish to hyperlink.

   2. Select Insert on the menu bar and choose Hyperlink from the drop
      down choices.

   3. Under Browse          For, select File.

   4. Click on the Down     Arrow Key in the Files of Type choice in the
       dialogue box and choose All Files.

   5. Click on the Down Arrow Key in the Look in choice in the
      dialogue box and navigate to the location in which you saved the clip. For
      example, you might have saved the clip to your hard drive in “My Documents” or
      your home folder on the school network, etc.

   6. Double click on the file name of the clip you wish to hyperlink (Example
      “Patrick Henry”)

       You will return to your Microsoft Word document or PowerPoint presentation
   and the words you originally highlighted will turn a different color. In the Microsoft
   Word document, when you point to those same words, you pointer will look like a
   hand. If you click when your pointer looks like a hand, the computer will open your
   clip and play it. In the PowerPoint presentation, you must be viewing the slide show
   for the hyperlink to work.



                      IMBED A VIDEO CLIP
          IN A MICROSOFT POWERPOINT PRESENTATION


   1. From the PowerPoint slide you wish to imbed a clip, select Insert on the menu
       bar and choose Movies        and Sounds / Movies from File.

   2. Click on the Down     Arrow Key in the Files of Type choice in the
       dialogue box and choose All Files.

   3. Click on the Down Arrow Key in the Look                     in dialogue box and
      navigate to the location containing the clip.

   4. Double click on the name of the clip you wish to imbed. (Example “Patrick
      Henry”)

   5. You will see the following
      prompt. It is your choice to
      answer “yes” or “no” depending
      on how you want the clip to play
      during your presentation.
      The clip will not play until you view the presentation as a slide show.
