  be	
  made

  consultation	
  with	
  your

  Liaison”	
  (Information	
  Technology	
  Consultant	
  for	
  
your	
  college	
  or	
  division).

  the	
  list	
  of	
  standard	
  equipment	
  your	
  college	
  will	
  receive	
  better	
  pricing,	
  fastest	
  
support	
  and	
  a	
  higher	
  reliability.

  Services	
  [TS]	
  and	
  Procurement	
  have	
  worked	
  to	
  standardize	
  a	
  few	
  computer	
  models	
  for	
  desktops	
  and	
  laptops.	
  	
  
Purchasing	
  computers	
  from	
  the	
  standard	
  list	
  reduces	
  support	
  costs	
  because	
  desktop	
  support	
  staff	
  can	
  maintain	
  fewer	
  
operating	
  system
