Update on the UTC

• Funding agreement – Signed by Lord Hill
• Environmental development funding
• ICT and Equipment spending over £1 million
   – supporting design, engineering, science and the options.
• Building work starts ...from June 20th
   – decoration, reception, classrooms refitted

Our students can select from a wide range of activities that
are designed to enable the pursuit and development of
interests outside the main curriculum. These take place from
4:00pm – 5:00pm, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday and all students are expected to participate.

Transport System
 • 3 year contract that will be developed to need
 • Drivers supplied all MIDAS trained & CRB clearance
 • WCT are to purchase 3 new vehicles with UTC Branding
 • Vehicles will be available during the day for the sole use of the
   UTC
 • Based on transport nodes and geographical distribution.
 • These routes are only proposals and are open to discussion with
   you.
 • Will be used during curriculum time for trips to the University,
   college, employers and other venue.
