                         OLYMPICS TEAM
                    SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION

      To be held at Chesfield Equestrian Centre on 15th July 2012.
                           To start at 9.30am
   By kind permission of Miss Kirsty Short and Miss Emily Seebohm.

This competition is open to all. Competitors compete as individuals
but can also compete as a team of four. Teams will be designated
a country on the day and will compete for Gold, Silver & Bronze
medals.

Class one: 1’9”-2’0”
Rider/horse/pony combinations not to have been placed 1st in any show
jumping class at 2’3” or above for both team and individual competition.
Maximum height: 2’0”

Class two: 2’0”-2’3”
Open to all.

Class three: 2’3”-2’6”
Open to all.

Class four: 2’6”-2’9”
Open to all.

Class five: 2’9”-3’0”
Open to all.

Entry fees: Individual entry fees are £6.00 for an SDRC member and non-
member is £8.00. (If you are in a team, you do not pay this fee)

Teams made up of more than 2 SDRC members-£24.00.
Teams made up of 2 or less SDRC members -£28.00.

£3.00 charge for first aid per competitor.

Rosettes to 6th place and medals 1st-3rd for both indviduals and teams.
Individual entries to be made on the day. If you wish to enter a team you
must make a pre-entry and this must be received by the organizer
Gabrielle Jones. The closing entry date for team entries is 12th July

Please remember to add £3.00 per competitor to team entry.

Team Rules:

        1. If you enter as a team all members of the team compete in the
           same class.
        2. You must have three or four members in your team. The teams can
           be made up of junior and seniors.
        3. All competitors are competing for individual places as well as being
           part of the team competition.
        4. Team members compete in the first round and if clear will go
           through to the jump off for individual placings and team competiton.
        5. All team members complete the first round but if two team members
           or more are eliminated then the whole team is eliminated from the
           team competition.
        6. The worst score of the four team members will not be counted.
           Only the three best scores will count.
        7. If members of the team have faults then they can still take part in
           the jump off for the team competition and individual placings.
        8. The team who has the least jumping penalties combined over the
           two rounds and the fastest combined team jump off time will be the
           overall winners.
        9. If necessary substitutions can be made on the day for the team
           event.

Correct competition attire is to be worn i.e. Black/navy hat (to current safety standards),
   show/hacking jacket, shirt, tie/stock, light coloured jodhpurs and correct footwear
