The company has an opening in its Morristown, NJ location for a full time GIS Web Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS related web sites/applications to provide spatial data in support of world wide undersea cable installation and maintenance operations. The incumbent will work closely with other organizations having responsibility for planning, installation and maintenance of undersea cable systems. A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required. Webrelated programming skills including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP, ASPX, Cold Fusion, PHP, .NET, etc. are required. Ability to design spatial databases and develop queries for report generation in a web-based, GIS environment is also required. Ideal candidate will have previous experience in developing web-based GIS sites using Autodesk MapGuide, Autodesk Map, SQL Server and Oracle. Some experience using and developing Oracle and SQL databases is preferred. Experience converting Cold Fusion to .NET technology would be a plus as would knowledge of open GIS standards and applications, ESRI ArcGIS, and Visual Studio.NET.
