can be done according to your availability

landscapers welcome especially for tilling the soil.

We generally meet every other Saturday, but our schedule is flexible depending
on the amount of work we have lined up. No one has to commit to every
Saturday, and no help is too little. We have a very firm policy of "Commit when
you can...leave when you must". Our "work day" typically runs from 8:00 in the
morning until around 2:00 in the afternoon...again, leave when you must.

Training Required:
None…the Hammerheads welcomes skilled tradespersons, on the job learners
and general laborers.

An email gets sent out any time there is a need with the mealbaby link. You can
clink on the link and sign up for as many or few meals as you would like. All of
the pertinent information about the family including number of people, allergies,
likes and dislikes are available on the website. You will also be given contact
information so you can work with the family on when and how to drop off the
meal.

Description of Volunteer Responsibilities:
Planning teams prepare for the big December Gift Marts where toys are sold to
low-income families at a reduced price, and all proceeds are donated back to the
schools. Planning team positions include kids’ activities, gift wrapping, gift mart,
toy collection, hospitality, donation solicitation and more. Volunteers also needed
to serve the day of the event and at set-up the day before.

The planning team works off and on all year, with the bulk of the work happening
between September and December. The Gift Mart is held the 2nd or 3rd
Saturday in December.
