Tour de Dayton Bicycle Event set for Sunday,
August 28, 2011 Registration 10am–Noon, Event 10am–3pm
Roll along Dayton’s bike friendly neighborhood streets, experiencing cultural and
historical destinations that promote our growing healthy quality of life! Sponsored by
your local Neighborhood Leadership Institute Alumni Association, we will be hosting the
first annual Tour de Dayton cycling event Sunday, August 28 2011, rain or shine.

The event begins at Dragons’ Plaza, with registration from 10am to Noon. The tour
route includes the Dayton Fire Department, Dayton Art Institute, Sunrise Park, Willis
Bing Davis Art Studio, Paul Laurence Dunbar House, Dayton Aviation Heritage National
Historical Park, Dayton RTA and Cultural Center, Carillion Park, the American Packard
Museum and Patterson Commons Park.

The tour is designed to take between two and three hours, is 10 miles long, and
includes water at most stops. An on-going raffle during the event will give participants
the opportunity to win prizes by checking their tickets once they return from the tour.
The event is free and open to interested participants of any age and skill level.

Registration has begun! Email for a registration form, or
register the day of the event. The first 50 to sign up will get free tickets to the Dragons
game that evening at 4pm! Also, we are looking for volunteers to help the day of the
