                                         Kilkenny People of the Year Awards
                                         The	12th	annual	Kilkenny	Local	Authority/Rehab	People	of	the	Year	
                                         Awards,	in	association	with	the	Kilkenny People,	took	place	in	October.

                                                                                            the Year
                                                                                            Young	Person	of	the	Year,	
                                                                                            Orla	Tinsley,	was	also	
                                                                                            named	Kildare	Person	of	
                                                                                            the	Year	2008	at	a	gala	
                                                                                            award	ceremony	held	
                                                                                            in	the	Keadeen	Hotel,	
                                                                                            Newbridge,	in	November.

                                                    Haven Staff Visit
                                                    Whisky Distillery
                                                    Pictured: Jackie Flynn, Haven Hillington’s

                                                    Glenturret Distillery. Staff were treated to the
                                                    Famous Grouse Experience, which involved
                                                    a tour of the distillery, participating in the
                                                    virtual reality room and tasting some of
                                                    the famous malt whisky. The visit provided
                                                    an opportunity for Haven employees to
                                                    see how they contribute to the prestigious
                                                    image of the unique distillery through the
                                                    packaging process.




Sporting Chance Graduations and
Trip to Croke Park

                                  The first graduations have taken place from the Sporting Chance
                                  course in National Learning Network in Tralee. Four of the
                                  graduates are pictured here displaying their certificates (left

TBG Learning Showcase
TBG Learning South London held a fun-filled community day in the Agnes Riley Gardens, Balham, to celebrate the end of the
academic year. The community day showcased the many courses on offer through TBG Learning, and gave potential new
learners a chance to meet tutors and current students, whilst having fun. Activities on offer included football, giant Connect 4,
sumo wrestling, bouncy castles, food-tasting, nail and beauty taster sessions and team games.

                                                                            country, raising €90,000 for Rehab’s services.

LONG SERVICE AWARDS
Long	Service	Awards	were	held	recently	across	the	Rehab	Group,	recognising	the	contributions	of	staff	who	have	
served	10,	15,	20,	25	and	30	years.	They	were	presented	by	Rehab’s	Chief	Executive,	Angela	Kerins.	Congratulations	
to	everyone	who	received	an	award.	

Chaseley Long Service Award

Award	for	over	30	years’	service	from	Rehab’s	Chief	Executive,	Angela	Kerins.	He	is	Chaseley’s	longest-serving
