Preston will be joined by representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Broome County Department of Planning & Economic Development, Tioga County Planning Department, local municipal leaders and area not‐for‐profit agencies. Residents impacted by the flood in any way are invited to attend. The Open House will feature experts in the fields of: • refinancing; • flood insurance; • building codes; • crisis counseling; • mold/toxins/water issues; and • historic preservation. • And more …. “This Open House will be a one‐stop shop for those struggling from the flood,” said Preston. “People are still hurting, I see it every day. This event will bring together experts from across the spectrum, all under one roof.” The Broome County Planning Department has been active in the flood recovery process.
