Lunar Eclipse Occurring on 16/17 August 2008 A deep partial lunar eclipse will be visible over most of Asia (including Pakistan), Australasia, Europe, Africa and South America. Although it is only a partial eclipse but this eclipse will be quite spectacular as most of the Moon will pass inside the Earth’s umbral shadow at maximum eclipse. The lunar eclipse will be visible in Pakistan on the night of 16th and 17th August 2008.
