The Lord’s Prayer—Part 5
  Our Father
Who is in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy will be done on earth
  as it is in heaven
The word will means
    “strong desire.”
“The Father predestined us to be adopted
as his sons [daughters] through Jesus
Christ, in accordance with his pleasure
and will. . .And he made known to us the
mystery of his will according to his good
pleasure, which he purposed in Christ to
be put into effect when the times will
have reached their fulfillment—to bring
all things in heaven and on earth together
under one head, even Christ.
In him [Christ] we were also chosen,
having been predestined according to the
plan of him who works out everything in
conformity with the purpose of his will
          (Ephesians 1:5, 9—11).
It is my Father’s will that everyone
who looks to the Son and believes in
him shall have eternal life”
                  (John 6:40)
             Acts 20:22—24

And now, compelled by the
Spirit, I am going to
Jerusalem not knowing
what will happen to me
there. I only know that in
every city the Holy Spirit
warns me that prison and
hardships are facing me.
             Acts 20:22—24

However, I consider my
life worth nothing to me,
if only I may finish the
race and complete the
task the Lord Jesus has
given me—the task of
testifying to the gospel
of God’s grace.
“Lord, whatever you want, wherever
you want it, and whenever you want it,
that’s what I want.”
              Richard Baxter
“The world has yet to see what
God can do with and for and
through a man who is fully and
wholly consecrated to Him.”
              Henry Barley
