CATHOLIC HOME MISSIONS APPEAL. The CHMA works to support home mission dioceses in the United States by
supporting seminarian formation in poor dioceses. Often home mission priests and lay ministers require special training to attend
to the unique needs of their faith communities. Your support is necessary for the success of these and other projects. Please

MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR: This Sunday, as the Diocese of Belleville celebrates the 125 Anniversary as a diocese, Tom

Lampe and Frances Wuebbels will be honored from St. Boniface parish at the Sunday, April 29 , 2:00PM Mass at St. Peter’s
Cathedral in Belleville. All parishioners are invited and welcome. Thursday, May 3, the cluster parishes of Bartelso, Carlyle,

Germantown, and Marydale will celebrate the Confirmation of 57 8 graders from these 4 parishes at a 7PM Mass here at St.

Boniface. Twenty-one 8 grade youth from St. Boniface; 21 from St. Mary, Carlyle; 10 from St. Cecilia; and 5 from St. Teresa in
Marydale will be confirmed by Bishop Edward K. Braxton at the Mass. All parishioners are invited and welcome. There will be

DIOCESE OF BELLEVILLE 125 ANNIVERSARY. You are invited to the 125 Anniversary (1887-2012) Mass and Celebration
for the Diocese of Belleville at 2PM on Sunday, April 29 at the Cathedral of St. Peter. Gather in the mother Church of the
Diocese and give thanks to God for the gift of the Catholic faith lived out each day by hundreds of thousands of faithful followers
of Jesus Christ for a century and a quarter. During this celebration distinguished members from each parish will be recognized.
Join in congratulating from our parish France Wuebbels, who has been involved with the St. Vincent de Paul Society here at St.
Boniface and Tom Lampe who has been organist and choir director here at St. Boniface for 55 plus years. A reception will
immediately follow in the McCormick Center. Everyone is encouraged to attend this historic event.
WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS WITH BISHOP BRAXTON. On Sunday, June 10 at 1:00PM in the Cathedral of St. Peter, Bishop Braxton

MOTHERS’ DAY ROSES FOR LIFE. Clinton County Citizens for Life will again have live, long-stemmed, red roses available after all masses

WANT TO BECOME A CATHOLIC? Sessions start this month! For those who cannot attend the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
classes on Monday nights due to scheduling conflicts, St. Francis Parish in Aviston will hold Saturday classes. Sessions will begin on

Saturday, April 28 from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at the rectory and will meet every other Saturday until next Easter. This includes a month off in

THE GERMANTOWN HISTORICAL SOCIETY will meet on Tuesday, May 8 at 7PM at the Germantown Public Library. Come join us as we
work together to preserve Germantown history. We have refreshments, show-n-tell, and we welcome new members!

THE SPASSFEST PARADE COMMITTEE is looking for Germantown residents born in 1968. If you were born that year or know someone
from Germantown that was, please contact Jamie Dumstorff at 444-6833.

THE SPASSFEST will be hosting a vendor/craft fair this year. We are looking for all interested parties that would like to rent a booth for

KICKIN’ CANCER BASH. Family and friends are invited to gather to support Earl Strieker in a Kickin’ Cancer Bash, May 5 at Schoendienst
Park, Germantown, from 2-PM to midnight. Food, drink, silent and oral auctions, music, photo booth, games.

BULLDOG DASH, to benefit Germantown Elementary will be held Sat., May 19 at Schoendienst Park. Join over 500 runners and walkers for a
5K or 2K race beginning at 9AM. This important fundraiser has raised over $100,000, which has contributed to after school and summer
programs along with technology for the school. Early entry ends May 5, registration forms are available at www.germantownbulldogs.org.

AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP. Germantown American Legion Women’s Auxiliary will be awarding one scholarship in the amount of $200 to an

FOOD COOP IS NOW AVAILABLE IN GERMANTOWN! We are a community produce coop that has started from a few friends hoping to
save a few dollars to becoming an amazing community wide coop. We hope everyone enjoys the experience and please keep in mind this is
run by the wonderful volunteers from the group leaders, group members sorting, etc. It is a great way to help others in your community and an
