readme Powered By Docstoc Many More 3D Accelerated Screensavers Available At 3DFiles.Com -------------------------------------------------------------------------Christmas 2000 3D Screen Saver v1.0 for Win95/98/NT4 by ROBERT BENNETT EMAIL: ICQ# 14073622 RELEASED: 30th November, 2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------* ARCHIVE CONTENTS - Christmas2000.scr - readme.txt * INSTALLATION To install, simply copy the "Christmas2000.scr" file to the windows folder (normaly C:\WINDOWS). Then go the Display options in Control Panel and in the Screen Saver section select Christmas2000! To remove simply delete the "Christmas2000.scr" file from the windows folder, but why you want to do this is beyond my comprehension. * SETTINGS: To get to the settings screen go to Display options in Control Panel and in the Screen Saver section click on Settings. The settings screen allows you to set how snowy it is and how many reindeer are pulling the sleigh. They both look better with more but it's also abit slower with more. * RELEASE NOTES: Well the silly season is upon us and every year I plan to do a special festive screen saver and then I never get around to it. So this year I had an idea and started early, and here it is ready to go on the last day of November!! Basically the screen saver displays Santa flying thru the night sky delivering presents, well actually the Elf does all the work, all in glorious 3D! There's more detail then that so check it out! I work for an ISP and every year around this time theres a heap of

Christmas emails that get sent around and block up everyones email. Most are more than afew Meg in size so it really causes problems. Anyway, incase you want to email this to your buddys I've made it as small as possible. Its tiny so go for it! The screen saver uses OpenGL which should work with most systems these days but if you get an error about missing DLLs you may need to download the drivers. You can get them from the following place: As with all my stuff if you like it/hate it/use it and want me to keep going with it let me know!! I hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. I think I spent most of the development time just sitting and watching it myself. Thanks go out to Emile and all the others who tested this thing out. Everyone who's seen it seemed to love it, which really helped when I got sick of doing it! Enjoy! Merry Christmas! Nah Humbug! Etc. * VERSION HISTORY 1.0 30/11/2000 Original Release - Santa flying in his sleigh delivering pressies!
