Website Review Checklist
Course Name: File Directory: Ensure correct naming conventions are used for file names. Ensure
follows correct format. Ensure <meta> follows correct format. Ensure that correct package id and revision number is added to the index page. Ensure email link is going to the correct Coordinator/Professor on the index page. Ensure “alt” and “title” commands are added to all images (except banner image) within the site. Ensure that EMD copyright blurb is added to the Copyright page as the last paragraph under the Course Team heading. Ensure that subject command is added to any email links. Ensure that “target=_blank” is used for any links that go outside of the current site. Ensure all required components are included in the site. Ensure that vertical navigation remains consistent on all pages. Compare with print version to ensure formatting/naming is consistent for all components of the site. Ensure that “Course Home Page” link is located at the top of the vertical navigation on all web pages. Ensure that “class=hoveroff” is used on current page links in the vertical navigation to indicate you are here. Ensure that “class=no-space-above” is added to the first tag within column2b. Ensure correct use of non-breaking spaces (e.g., John Smith). Ensure correct use of “<div style="clear: both"> </div>.” To be used only when vertical navigation is longer that content in column2b. Ensure correct use of “top” anchor for long pages. Do not over use. Ensure that the “new_window.gif” icon is used within the vertical navigation for any links that go to outside pages. Remove any unnecessary files from directory. Ensure required information is documented in the readme file. Validate. Date:
