Sirona Offers New Range of Materials for Dental CAD/CAM Systems
Sirona Now Offers its Customers CAD/CAM Systems and Materials From a Single Provider. New Ceramic Blocks will Complement the Selection Currently on Offer by the Company's Materials Partners.
Bensheim, Germany, July 26, 2006 – Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRO), one of the world's leading manufacturers of hightechnology dental equipment, today announced it has developed its own range of millable ceramic blocks for the Sirona CAD/CAM systems CEREC and inLab. The feldspath ceramics for chairside restorations (CEREC) will be available to customers as CEREC blocks. The Company’s inCoris product line for dental labs will be expanded to include aluminum and zirconium oxide blocks. The new ceramics assortment, expected to be offered over the course of the year, will complement the current selection on offer from the Company’s partners including VITA, Ivoclar Vivadent and 3M ESPE for the CEREC and inLab CAD/CAM systems. Sales will be managed by Sirona dealers. Sirona developed the new ceramic blocks together with well-known material manufacturers including the Company's long-term partner VITA.
