KYACAC 29th Annual Spring Conference March 17-19, 2010 • The Galt House • Louisville, KY Call for Proposals As an organization we are looking forward to an exciting and motivating conference! We are looking forward to reading your proposals for presentations! Proposals will be reviewed by the program committee and approved based upon: • overall quality of proposal • well-developed focus • relevance to the profession • potential impact on colleagues and students SESSION PROPOSALS SHOULD BE PLANNED FOR 45 MINUTE BREAK-OUT PERIODS! The description should be appropriate in length for publication in pre-conference materials and the conference program. Check one of each below: Target Audience: secondary post-secondary all conference attendees Audience Expertise Level: beginning intermediate advanced Session Format: Presentation--presenters report on their research or share ideas developed through their professional experience Panel---- a panel of experts, each with a different perspective, discuss a specific set of topics Forum---facilitators provide participants with similar concerns, interests, or issues with the opportunity to meet and share ideas on particular topics KYACAC will provide a screen and power source to all presenters. Laptops and/or LCDs must be provided by presenters.
