Print labels using AVERY label templates in MS Word 2003. Open the AVERY Template file. Select “NO” when asked to open data from “C:\temp.csv”. Select Tools/Letters and Mailings/Mail Merge Select “Find Data Source” and point to your CSV file. Next under the Tools menu, select “Letters and Mailings” then “Mail Merge”. Lower Right hand corner, Click on “Starting Document” Click on “Select Recipients” Under “Use an existing list” click on “Browse” or “select different list” (not sure how it will show up) 9. In dialog box, navigate to the CSV file saved to your PC and open it. 10. A dialog box will appear with all the members listed (from the CSV file). You may select or un-select members here. Click “OK”. 11. Click on “Write you Letter” 12. Click on “Preview you Letters” 13. Click on “Complete the Merge” 14. Click on “Edit Individual Letters” 15. Select “ALL” and click “OK” 16. At this point, all the labels should be completed. Scroll through the tags and manually adjust any tags that do not look right. Occasionally, the business names get too long and run into the graphics. Adjust as required. 17. Print when ready. I recommend doing a test print on plain paper first to make sure that the document does not require adjusting for your printer. The label file can be saved if you like. I recommend that you not save the template file, unless you have made changes on the printer margin to suit your printer. 18. Done. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.
