					401 INSPECTION REGULATIONS

Friday 26 February 2010
Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth CV8 2LD
Cost: Online £135 Postal Fee £165 - phone for details

This is a repeat of the course held in York on 16 November 2009.

This course is designed to help schools understand the new inspection arrangements and
how they can best prepare themselves for short notice inspections. It builds on the briefings
for schools held by ISI in June, but considers the new inspection framework from the school’s
point of view rather than the inspectors’. The course will look at what the regulations mean
for schools and the role of self evaluation as an important tool for being “inspection ready.”
Important Note:
Delegates are requested to bring a copy of the ISI Handbook for Inspections – The
Regulatory Requirements (September-December Issue) - and the Pre-Inspection Package for
Schools. The speaker will make frequent reference to these documents during the day – it will,
therefore, be necessary for each delegate to have their own copy. Please access the ISI website using
the secure link sent to all schools by ISI. If you are unsure, please contact Paul Westwood at ISI.
