ASSOCIATION TO BENEFIT CHILDREN
Association to Benefit Children (ABC) was created in 1986 to champion the right of every child to a positive, nurturing childhood. ABC creates program models that are easily replicable, humane, comprehensive and cost-effective and include family preservation, early childhood education, health, housing, mental health and youth services. Through them and through widespread advocacy efforts that have effected far reaching public policy reform, ABC has brought relief, tenderness, joy and hope to many thousands of disadvantaged children. Every day one in five New York City children experiences hunger. Please help us remember them this Thanksgiving season. Your generosity will put sufficient food on our families’ plates, throughout the year, to ensure that ABC’s children will have enough to eat to grow strong and healthy and thrive. A REQUEST At this season of Thanksgiving, please bring non-perishable canned or dried foods for ABC’s families. A collection box will be located next to the reception desk.
