Google goes for a new look on Korean site
Google Inc. is trying out a new look on its South Korean Web site that goes further from the company's famously clean design than anything tried before. Google has been quietly tinkering with the design of its Web site for some time. Most recently, the company added a toolbar with text links at the top of its flagship site, just above the company's logo and search bar. The new site design introduced in South Korea replaces the toolbar with an array of logos -- including a row of animated icons that expand when the mouse rolls over them -- that add a dose of color, and clutter, to the site. http://www.networkworld.com/news/2007/053007-google-goes-for-a-new.html

Poker.com Domain Sale a Bust?
As Gambling911.com has been reporting for the past few weeks, it appears that the silent auction of the domain name Poker.com may not have gone through according to plan. While a verbal offer of $27 mil was reportedly thrown out there, a written commitment for $22 mil seemed the more likely of the two
options. But a third option of "no deal" may be the ultimate ending to this most unusual of sagas. http://www.gambling911.com/Poker.com-Domain-Name-053007.html

Ask.com's bogus Information Revolution
Column Over the past couple of months, the British public have been subject to a widespread poster campaign, imploring them to join the "Information Revolution". Posters have appeared in train carriages, buses, and restrooms, plastered in self-consciously militant leftist graphics, demanding freedom of expression and choice. Initially, the posters appeared with no indication of who was behind them, perhaps in the hope that some would be sufficiently naïve about advertising finance to believe this was a genuine guerrilla movement. Sadly not. It is just very naïve guerrilla marketing.
