(See Attached) Purchase: Recommendation Sole Source Purchase Payment of invoice for membership fee for CTAE Resource Network 7/1/2008- 6/30/2008 in the amount of $7,619.00. Bid Purchase Medical Examinations for annual bus drivers’ physicals in the amount $6,060.00. CDWG for WebSense license renewal subscription for FY09 in the amount of $9,500.00. SACS Accreditation: Recommendation Approve the recommendation for school system to pursue District SACS Accreditation as presented. TANS: Recommendation Approval of Tax Anticipation Notes recommendation as presented. Fundraisers: Recommendations Approve the following fundraising requests of Baldwin High School: FBLA – To defray cost of taking student to state conferences, competitions, meetings, FBLA would like to: 1) Sell candy bars before and after school October 15-17, 2008, November 1-21, 2008, January 8-31, 2009 and February 15-March 15, 2009; 2) Sell BHS tattoos before games in the commons area during lunch October 16-31, 2008, 3) To support the March of Dimes would like to collect loose change in baby bottles October 27-November 21, 2008. Quiz Bowl – To pay for competition registration would like to sell baked goods after school and during lunch Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the school year. Math Department – To raise money to purchase calculators for each upcoming 9 th grade students, would like to sponsor a π Run on March 14, 2008 at 9:00 AM. Future Farmers of America – To further student’s educational opportunities, would like to ask for donations from business sponsors throughout the FY09 school year.

AGENDA for Regular Meeting –October 14, 2008 Fin Club – To offset cost of swim meets, would like to sell baked goods during lunch at school on Mondays beginning Monday, October 27, 2008 thru Monday, February 2, 2009. Beta Club – To help offset expenses for the Beta Club Convention in February and to donate to Change for Cancer project, the Beta Club would like to participate in the following fundraising events: 1) Sell baked goods and do face painting at a Haunted Display at Milledgeville Mall October 25, 2008 from 4-9 PM. 2) Host the following Chick-Fil-A nights - November 4, 2008, January 13, 2009 and April 14, 2009. 3) Help at the Oconee Area Fair October 28, 2008-November 1, 2008. Baldwin High School – To contribute to Muscular Dystrophy, BHS would like to have various clubs collect donations for MD – October 15, 2008-October 30, 2008. Freshman Academy – To fund Freshman Academy activities such as the Freshman Gala and the Georgia Power Field Trip, would like to sell Papa John Pizza October 15, 2008-May 22, 2009. Key Club – To donate to UNICEF, the Key Club would like to Trick or Treat for UNICEF by collecting loose change October 15-October 30, 2008. Approve the following fundraising requests of Creekside Elementary School: Creekside – To purchase core essentials for character education program, would like to request permission to hold Spirit Nights at Chick-Fil-A January 27, 2009, March 3, 2009 and May 5, 2009 Creekside – To donate money to St. Jude’s Hospital, would like to request permission to participate in the St. Jude’s Math-a-thon for the 2008-2009 school year. Approve the following fundraising request of Early Learning Center: ELC – To purchase playground equipment, would like to hold miscellaneous yard sale on November 15, 2008. Approve the following fundraising requests of Oak Hill Middle School: Technology Student Association – To defray hotel, and transportation, would like to sell doughnuts November1-30, 2008. Disc Golf Club – To donate to Meals on Wheels, would like to hold a disc golf tournament January 17, 2009. Disc Golf Club – To make improvements to the disc golf course, would like to sell chocolate October 20-November 17, 2008. OHMS Band – To purchase uniforms shoes, pay for music, repairs and supplies, would like to sell Kringles – October 27-November 5, 2008. OHMS-Washington DC Student – To help defray the expenses for the Washington, D. C. trip, would like to sell candles October 30, 2008-May 1, 2009.
