									    Genesis 4:10-11a,12b
“What have you done?
Listen! Your brother’s blood
cries out to me from the
ground. Now you are under a
curse and driven from the
ground…you will be a
restless wanderer on the
earth.”
      Ephesians 1:9-10
“And he made known to us the
mystery of his will according to
his good pleasure, which he
purposed in Christ, to be put into
effect when the times will have
reached their fulfillment – to
bring all things in heaven and on
earth together under one head,
even Christ.”
        The Calling
We are a people with a
great purpose – the
reconciling of all things to
Christ, fueled by a great
power – the Spirit of God,
as we live out a great life –
the life of Jesus Christ.

on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do
people light a lamp and put it under a
bowl. Instead they put it on its stand,
and it gives light to everyone in the
house. In the same way, let your light
shine before men, that they may see
your good deeds and praise your
Father in heaven.”

       2 Corinthians 4:4-6
“The god of this age has blinded the minds
of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,
who is the image of God. For we do not
preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord,
and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’
sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine
out of darkness,” made his light shine in
our hearts to give us the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face
of Christ.”
        Three Battle Cries

wants to please his commanding
officer. Similarly, if anyone

understanding the present time. The
hour has come for you to wake up
from your slumber, because our
salvation is nearer now than when
we first believed. The night is nearly
over; the day is almost here. So let
us put aside the deeds of darkness
and put on the armor of light.”
