Entertaining Cocktail Party

The quintessential cocktail party is in vogue. Learn exciting techniques to create elegant make ahead cocktail food to WOW your guests. Beginning with sundried tomato torta, shrimp and artichoke hearts, curried chicken salad, grilled salmon skewers glazed with orange miso sauce and finishing with mini cheesecakes.

Are you tired of eating the same old chicken dishes? Well, come learn how to stuff a chicken breast and create a number of new chicken dishes. This class will teach two different ways to stuff a chicken breast. One recipe will be a chicken breast stuffed with boursin cheese and prosciutto, served with rice pilaf.

Come and start spring time right, tonight we will enjoy Potage Printanier (Springtime Soup from Provence with artichokes, potatoes and Swiss chard), Cotes de Porc, Sauce Hachee (Pork Chops in a chopped sauce with mushrooms, shallots, capers and red wine), Pommes de Terre au gratin (Potato gratin with Gruyere cheese) then we will finish the evening with Crème Caramel (Vanilla Custard with Caramel Sauce).

Finishing the meal with lemon shortbread cookies.

Get ready for an evening of Chinese cooking. The wok will be fired up in preparing a stir-fried beef with broccoli, a shrimp fried rice and a quick fried green beans in onion and garlic sauce. You will not be hungry 30 minutes after this class….guaranteed!!!
Nutritious, Quick, Everyday Cooking Tuesday, April 28~$55 Lynne Gettelfinger
So you’ve bought a fresh vegetables and maybe some meat, chicken or fish- what do you do with it for dinner tonight that is “different” maybe even gourmet? This class is about “everyday” food and the emphasis will be on creating quick and easy meals made mostly from items on hand. Lynne will share with you her list of “never out” pantry items and share ideas and recipes using these foods. We will make an “almost from scratch” tomato roasted red pepper soup, an easy salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette, 2 quick main dish entrees, one that makes use of a “reduction” sauce (a must for quick gourmet meals), and an easy fruit dessrt.
