AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 4, 2009) Now statesman.com readers can take it with them — from news and sports to entertainment and photos. The new statesman.com iPhone application is available for free download at statesman.com/iPhone. “Austin is a mobile city in every sense of the word,” said Tim Lott, Vice President for Digital Media at the Austin American-Statesman. “We built the Statesman app to better serve our growing iPhone audience.” Application features include sorting news by topic, such as sports, business, technology and entertainment, and viewing the latest blogs, including Bevo Beat, Austin Legal, Austin Music Source and more.
