     AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SIX MONTH EXTENSION OF DEVELOPMENT APPROVALS
         GRANTED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 06-193 FOR THE CAMBRIA SUITES HOTEL
                                 CASE NO. Z0607-06

        Whereas, On October 10, 2006, The Village Board Adopted Ordinance No. 06-193 – An Ordinance
Granting A Special Use For A Hotel, Amendment To Approved B-3 Development Plan, Height Variation, Sign
Variation, Woodfield Regional Center Design Review, And Site Plan Approval For Cambria Suites Hotel Located
At Hillcrest Commons Lot 2-West Of Roselle Road, South Of I-90, Case No. Z0607-06; And On October 9,
2007, The Village Board Adopted Ordinance No. 07-147 - An Ordinance Granting A One Year Extension Of
Development Approvals Granted Under Ordinance No. 06-193 For The Cambria Suites Hotel; And On October
14, 2008, The Village Board Adopted Ordinance No. 08-135 – An Ordinance Granting A One Year Extension Of
Development Approvals Granted Under Ordinance No. 06-193 For The Cambria Suites Hotel; and on October 13,
2009, The Village Board Adopted Ordinance No. 09-102 – An Ordinance Granting a One Year Extension of
Development Approvals Granted Under Ordinance No. 06-193 for the Cambria Suites Hotel; and on November 9,
2010, The Village Board Adopted Ordinance No. 10-124 – An Ordinance Granting a Six Month Extension of
Development Approvals Granted Under Ordinance No. 06-193 for the Cambria Suites Hotel

        WHEREAS, Section Two, Condition No. 1 of Ordinance No. 06-193 requires the petitioner to obtain a
building permit within one year of the date of adoption of the enabling ordinance; and

       WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property does not anticipate applying for a building permit until late
2011 and has submitted a written request for a six month extension of the development approvals granted under
Ordinance No. 06-193; and

         WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schaumburg have determined that
granting of said six month extension of the development approval granted under Ordinance No. 06-193 is in the
best interest of the Village;

      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF SCHAUMBURG:

       SECTION ONE: That a six month extension to a date certain of February 9, 2012 of the development
approval granted under Ordinance No. 06-193, be and it is hereby granted on property legally described as:

       LOT 1 IN HILLCREST COMMONS II, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE
       SOUTHWEST ¼ OF SECTION 3 AND PART OF THE NORTHWEST ¼ OF SECTION
       10, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL
       MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED ON OCTOBER
       16, 1998 AS DOCUMENT NO. 98931796, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

which property is located at Hillcrest Commons Lot 2-West of Roselle Road, South of I-90.

        SECTION TWO: All Terms And Conditions Of Ordinance No. 06-193 – An Ordinance Granting A
Special Use For A Hotel, Amendment To Approved B-3 Development Plan, Height Variation, Sign Variation,
Woodfield Regional Center Design Review, And Site Plan Approval For Cambria Suites Hotel Located At
Hillcrest Commons Lot 2-West Of Roselle Road, South Of I-90, Not Specifically Revised Herein Are Hereby
Reaffirmed By Reference And Subject To The Following Conditions:
        1) Building permit plans for the subject hotel shall be reviewed under the 2009 International Building
Code Series.

           GRANTED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 06-193 FOR THE CAMBRIA SUITES HOTEL
                                   CASE NO. Z0607-06


        SECTION THREE: The Director of Community Development of the Village of Schaumburg is hereby
directed to issue the necessary permits upon proper application to effectuate the provisions of this ordinance.

       SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval,
and publication in pamphlet form and posting in the manner provided by law.
