  Beta	
  Club	
  is	
  lead	
  by	
  faculty	
  sponsors	
  Kelly	
  Elliott,	
  Dana	
  Overton	
  
       and	
  Merry	
  Willis.	
  In	
  December,	
  members	
  created	
  over	
  100	
  cards	
  and	
  posters	
  that	
  they	
  distributed	
  to	
  local	
  nursing	
  
       homes.	
  They	
  are	
  currently	
  sponsoring	
  a	
  school	
  supply	
  drive.	
  All	
  supplies	
  collected	
  will	
  go	
  to	
  Carmel	
  students	
  in	
  
       need	
  of	
  school	
  supplies.	
  This	
  will	
  restock	
  our	
  counselors’	
  emergency	
  school	
  supply	
  stash	
  for	
  the	
  remainder	
  of	
  the	
  
       year	
  to	
  insure	
  that	
  we	
  are	
  able	
  to	
  provide	
  students	
  with	
  needed	
  materials.

  February

                    Fourth grade class representatives included Christian Watson, Josh
                  Shackleford, E’Million Hernandez, Delaney Gillmon (2nd place), Jetta

                                                           The Carmel Media Center is currently in need of volunteers to help out a
	
                                                        few hours each week. Volunteers help Media Specialist Robin Moles with
                                                           tasks such as straightening and re-shelving books, student library book
	
  
                                                             checkout and helping students navigate the Media Center. If you, or
                                                         anyone you know, are interested in this great opportunity and are available
