Job Purpose
Assist with the implementation of the Firm’s marketing strategy. The role has a strong focus on digital
marketing duties including social media, website content management and database management. You will
be responsible for making sure content is kept up to date and that all published information is included
online. You will also be required to monitor the effectiveness of online marketing which will include monthly
reports using tools such as Google Analytics. You will also support and in some cases implement offline
marketing activity and campaigns.


Key Responsibilities
       To have an understanding of Blackadders’ business opportunities and demonstrate how digital
        marketing activities support these.

       Understand the Blackadders’ brand position and core values and ensure all marketing activities
        reflect this.

       To understand competitor activity and provide recommendations as to how this may affect the
        success of marketing activities

       In conjunction with the marketing director and the various heads of departments develop and
        implement marketing campaigns and projects.

Project Management

       To liaise directly and build relationships with the partners in the business for effective implementation
        of all marketing activity.

       To build relationships with the Firm’s internal teams

       To be the day to day contact with internal teams to ensure co-ordination and execution of marketing
        activities.

       Develop and manage specific digital marketing campaigns and projects

       Manage content updates and continual functional improvement of the website
       Day to day search marketing management

       Campaign performance review and optimisation

       Report on traffic, targets and cost.

       Stay up-to-date with new advances in online marketing

Education

Degree educated preferably in marketing, design or IT.


Experience

A background in professional services marketing is desirable but someone with new thinking and solutions
from any industry with insight and the right experience will be considered. Experience with social media and
web content management, as well as email marketing software is essential and a good understanding of
HTML would be advantageous.
