A superb entry of mainly first quality calves on offer selling to one of the best
                                                                                     & S Cheacker, Pilning. The general run of Continental heifers traded between
trades seen for many years. The above average including 32 Friesian calves

indicating the strength of the Continental heifer and bull calf trade.

Another extremely strong trade throughout with more cattle needed to support a
very strong demand.
Overage cows saw Limousin 620 kg to £828 for S R & W Ball and Friesian
from M J C Hocken & Son, 740 kg at £793. Cows overall averaged 111p, 134p
top per kilo, plainer Friesians on offer today still sold in the mid 80’s and plent
of average cattle in the 90’s.
