Knowledge has become a key factor in added value. We are witnessing the shift from an Partner:
industrial society to a service and hi-tech society. The buzz phrase ‘knowledge economy’
epitomizes an economy in which the dominating source of growth and prosperity is
knowledge, or more generally expressed, intangible resources.
EMIE SUMMIT’s MAIN ISSUE therefore will be to capturing intellectual property value for
the growth and expansion of technology-based enterprises.
The EMIE SUMMIT’s AMBITION is to become the leading platform in Europe for
“Entrepreneurship and Management in an Intangible Economy” that unites those in both
business and academia with the aim of accelerating collaboration in the entrepreneurship
and management of intellectual property by discussing the subject from an interdisciplinary
perspective.
