					Evaluating the Benefits of Eating Breakfast Before School

                                                       You’ve probably heard people talk about how
                                                       beneficial it is to eat breakfast before you start
                                                       your day. Indeed, breakfast is an excellent and
                                                       irreplaceable way to start your day.

                                                         Besides having many excellent health benefits,
                                                         eating breakfast consistently in the mornings can
                                                         also help students with their daily schoolwork and
                                                         classes. One of the most important benefits of
eating breakfast is that it gives you that extra energy boost.

If you stock up on vitamins and minerals early in the day, that will help give you the energy you need to
make it through the rest of your day. Many breakfast foods have lots of nutrients that will help you to
have energy.

Vitamin D


Eggs are a great choice for breakfast because they provide protein and vitamin D. consuming whole
grains for breakfast is also a great idea.

Whole grains as breakfast foods manifest themselves in bread, oatmeal, and cereal. Eating one of these
foods that is rich in whole grain will help you to feel energized throughout your day.

Focus


Eating breakfast will also help you to focus throughout your day. Nothing interrupts your focus more
than a growling stomach.

If you fill up your stomach at the beginning of the day, you’ll have at least a few hours of good focus
time before you need to fill it up again at lunchtime. Eating breakfast also gets your metabolism going in
the morning.

When you are asleep, all of your bodily functions slow down, including your metabolism. When you
wake up in the morning and skip breakfast, your body isn’t notified that it needs to get your metabolism
going again.
But if you eat a healthy breakfast, your body knows to start your metabolism and it can start burning
calories earlier in the day. Eating breakfast also helps you not to overeat.

Overeating at Lunch


If you skip breakfast, then you will most likely be hungrier when lunchtime rolls around. This could lead
to you overeating at lunchtime.

Overeating is not a good idea because it strains your body. It can also stretch out your stomach, which
can be a contributing factor that leads to obesity.

Eating breakfast will also help you to eat three solid, healthy, well-balanced meals per day. Eating three
meals per day is the best way to be happy and healthy.

Sometimes people overeat at meals, or snack between meals. While snacking between meals can be
fine, if practiced excessively it can disrupt your normal mealtimes.


Weight loss?


Some people may choose to skip breakfast
because they think that if they eat less, then
they’ll lose weight. This is not always the
case.

Eating breakfast will actually help you to
lose weight, as long as you eat a healthy and
well-balanced breakfast. The combination of
eating a healthy and well-balanced diet and
exercising regularly is the path to
maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reaching your healthy weight.

Eating breakfast can be helpful for those individuals who are attending Lehi colleges. Lehi colleges can
be demanding, so it is important for students to eat breakfast so they can do well in their studies.
