How to set up a termbase from Excel
In the second instalment from our two part Terminology webinar series we focus our attention on the steps required to set up a
MultiTerm database from terminological data in Excel.
Presented by Diana Brändle, this webinar includes a live demonstration that covers:
Check Excel file (data categories, consistent field contents, just ONE worksheet in Excel, etc.)
MultiTerm Convert: Select field types (text field, attribute field, etc.); assign data categories to index level, language level,
term level, etc.;
Conversion: Automatic creation of files with MultiTerm term base definition and terminological data in MultiTerm format
Set up new term base in MultiTerm using the term base definition created during the conversion process
Import terminological data created during the conversion process
And your MultiTerm database is ready!
