As President of Earth Services & Abatement (ESA), Kory Mitchell brings a lifetime of experience to the
company. Alongside brother Kristian, Kory grew up in a family-owned and run asbestos abatement and
demolition firm. There, he worked in every aspect of the company, from accounting & sales to project
management and design. With eighteen years in the industry Kory brings a unique perspective to clients.
Kory is involved in every aspect of the business. He oversees the office in Earth Services’ Denver
headquarters, and manages all aspects of marketing and sales, from client relationship management to sales
strategy. Kory also serves as the state certified Colorado Project Designer for the company.

Recent involvement includes: Serving on the Finance Committee for Michael Hancock’s race for Denver
Mayor. Kory was also appointed by Hancock to serve on the Denver Economic Development transition team.
Kory also served on the finance committee for Senator Mark Udall’s successful race for U.S. Senate. Kory also
serves on the finance committee for Congressman Jared Polis. In 2008, he served as Colorado chairman for
President Obama’s young professional’s fundraising group “Generation Obama.” Prior to that, he served as
senior advisor to Vice President Joe Biden on his run for President. He has also served as advisor to Senators
John Kerry and Evan Bayh.
