MODULE2:DESIGNING BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES Instruction By Resource person These beautifully vibrant butterflies are a great way to decorate your rooms! and attach to a paper plate flower basket. RP should show one design: 1. Flatten the tissues and place it on a plate or newspaper, the paint and water will soak through. Set aside on paper towels to dry.

Children should be asked to make atleast one design.
2. Fold the chenille stem in half. Remember, you are only using half of a chenille stem to begin with. 3. Fold the tissues accordion style (arranged in parallel folds, see photo), in about ½" pleats.
4. Position the pleated tissues into the bent end of the chenille stem. Center the tissue at the bend.
5. Twist the chenille stem around the tissue to secure it in place. 6.Bend the tips of the chenille stems over about ¼" to create the butterfly’s antennae. 7.Fan out the butterfly wings.
MODULE3:POT A PLANT Instruction By Resource person 1.Give each child a small pot and some seeds/a sapling.

to grow the plant. 2. Ask each child to grow the plant and take care of it.
3.Get each one to maintain a small scrap book in which he/she makes a note of changes on a weekly basis.
4. Also ask them to draw pictures of the plant in various stages.
Student responds to the instructions of the resource person.
5. RP should ask the student how many types of tree/ plant are there in their neighborhood. If possible after the class RP should take them around park or for a walk to see plants/ trees.
Children should come to board and list the names.
MODULE4: PAPER PLATE FLOWER BASKET Instruction By Resource person RP should show how it is made, then children should be asked to make. 1. Cut one plate in half. Set aside one half for another project or for another child to use. Action by Students Picture(Illustration of aim) Thing to be taken *2 Flimsy paper plates Construction paper (cardboard/chart paper) *Markers or paint, optional *Scissors *Decorative scissors, optional *Glue *Stapler *Hole punch *Ribbon or yarn
Students can easily do it and can use at home. .
2. Decorate the outside (bottom) of the plates using markers, paint, construction paper, or whatever you wish. Let dry.
3. Staple the circular paper plate and the half plate together, outsides facing out. 4. Punch two holes in the top of the circular paper plate. (see photo) 5. Attach a piece of ribbon or yarn so you can hang the basket on the door handle. 6. Create flowers and leaves from construction paper. 7. Glue pieces together.

MODULE5:DRIED FLOWER CARDS Action by Students Picture(Illustration of aim)
Thing to be taken You Need: *A book (old telephone directories work well) *newspaper *flowers *something heavy such as more books or bricks
RP should show how it is made, then children should be asked to make.
1. Cut the news paper to match the size and shape of the pages in your book. 2. Select and pick the flowers that you wish to press. 3. Open your book, Place two pieces of newspaper in the book. Then in a single layer carefully arrange some of the flowers you wish to press. 4. Put two more sheets of newspaper on top of the flowers and slowly close the book.
Students can try with different flowers and make use of this in Paper Plate Flower Basket.
5. If you have selected a thick book you may carefully skip forward about 25 pages and press more flowers in the same book. Do not over fill the
book. 6. Find a cool dry place where the book will not be disturbed. 7. Lay the book flat and place a stack of books on top of it as a weight. Wait about 10 days. Now, use the dried flowers to make greeting cards or paste them onto your paper plate basket for decoration.

Thing to be taken
Bookmarks are very easy to make and you can make use of the things lying at your home.
Students can follow the instruction and can make attractive bookmarks.
*Old greeting card. *Crayons. *Pencil and eraser. *Scissors.
RP should show how it is made, then children should be asked to make. 1. Take an old greeting card. On the inside, draw a carrot on it. 2. Now cut it in the same shape. Use a greeting card that is made of thick paper so that your bookmark does not fold or crack easily.
3. To make a colourful bookmark, use paints, crayons or colour pencils on the plain side of the card. You can even write your name on it. Even if you were to turn the bookmark over you will find an attractive pattern on the other side. This way, you have a twoin-one bookmark.

MODULE7:BUFFOONS HAT Action by Students Picture(Illustration of aim)

RP should show how it is made, then children should be asked to make. 1.Use the longer side of the chart paper as the base and the shorter side as the height. Draw a wide triangle to get the cone shape.
By the resource available children can create Buffoon Hats
2. Round the base as shown in the figure. Cut out the triangle. 3. Decorate the caps with glitter glue. If you do not have glitter glue then you can do spray painting or stick cutouts from old greeting cards. 4. Put a line of glue on one side of the triangle. Roll it in a cone shape. Stick the cotton ball on top of the cone. 5. Make two holes on the opposite ends at the base of the cap. Tie ribbons two each of the holes. Instruction By Resource person How do we make sure that our favourite person stays by our side at most times? Simple – we frame their photographs and keep them in a place where we can always see them. What fun if we could make the photo frames too! And it is not at all difficult.
MODULE8:SMILE PLEASE Action by Students Picture(Illustration of aim)
Thing to be taken 1. Ice Cream sticks. 2. Adhesive. 3. Colours. 4. Thick string or wire.
RP should show how it is made, then children should be asked to make.
1. Collect around 15 ice cream sticks. For the base of the frame, stick the ice cream sticks as shown in the picture. 2. Leave half-an-inch space from all the sides and glue four sticks on the base to make the upper layer of the frame.
3. Slide the photograph through the gap. 4. Take a thick wire or a string to make a loop. Stick the two ends of the loop at the back of the frame. You can now hang your photo frame. You can draw a variety of patterns on the side of your photo frame with the help of crayons.
