YPTT, 200 RYS was designed as a tool to Enhance and Deepen your Yoga Practice, gain Knowledge of yoga history, focus on Body Awareness and offer Skills to prepare you to be a Professional Yoga Teacher. Jules, signature style “Yoga Power” is a vinyasa paced personal power yoga system that fuses the body and breath while developing inner strength focusing on mindful movement creating grace and flow. Required hours include 180 hours with Jules and approved instructors, and an additional 20+hours of home study. Upon completion the student will receive the official 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate and may apply to Yoga Alliance® for membership. Areas of study include, but not limited to: yoga philosophy; methodology; instructional techniques; pose anatomy; applied anatomy and physiology; developing a personal ethics and lifestyle plan; practicum; and designing and developing a yoga class and most importantly creating a personal practice.

Fees: Cash or Checks to made to Shanti Enrichment Series. ●$1960 if paid in full on or before 15 days prior to first day of training ●$2160 after 30 days prior to first day of training ● Payment Plan: ○$360 non-refundable deposit holds your place in the training ○ 5 payments of $360 due 5th of each month (September, October, November, December, January) ○ Your account will be charged late fees at $5 a day for payments received after the 5th. CANCELLATION POLICY • If cancellation is before the training session begins, you will forfeit your $250 deposit. • If cancellation is after the program begins, there will be no refund. • If student does not complete current program which he/she is registered, student can roll his/her money into another training or study offered by Shanti Enrichment Series, for up to 18 months from withdrawal date. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND CODE OF ETHICS I would like to welcome you into the Yoga Power Teacher Training. The program embodies peace in all aspects of the physical and spiritual body. I hope you discover and explore new areas in your life taking the time to listen with your heart. Over the next few months, draw support from the group and immerse yourself in your yoga practice as you combine all aspects of the physical body and heart philosophy of yoga. Honor yourself by being open to the process of the program and center on being the student. As a student, you will be reviewed throughout the course by program creator and director Jules Schmidt, and co-trainer Kim Latford. Assistance will be offered on teaching skills, knowledge of materials read and studied, group participation, commitment to program and personal embodiment of living the yoga life: Living with integrity, honesty, pure words & peaceful actions of the heart on and off the mat. Students are expected to be respectful to others during their teaching series and support one another throughout their enrollment in the program and beyond graduation. Discussion about person’s attending, leading or affiliated with the training to anyone in the group, or outside of the group will not be tolerated. If any questions, concerns or situations arise please speak directly to Jules. In the spirit of yoga and the Yoga Power Training whose goal is to enable each individual to attain personal power, purpose and peace, one’s personal beliefs, practices and personalities will be honored. Discussions with Jules, or group sharing is confidential to protect the privacy of everyone. Jules has the right to excuse and refund a student accordingly to their portion of the training achieved if the student is not upholding the ethical guidelines. Upon 100% completion of the entire program, students are awarded a graduation certificate. It is understood that life circumstances sometimes arise and there may be a need to miss some hours. Missing hours may put your certification in jeopardy; however, a reasonable effort will be made to allow you to make up the material with your class or in another group. In addition to training sessions, home practice and independent study assignments are required to integrate with the material learned in class. All course work must be completed and turned in one week prior to the final session date to participate in graduation. It is the student’s responsibility to apply to Yoga Alliance for membership. SHANTI ENRICHMENT SERIES PROGRAMS lead by JULIE “Jules” SCHMIDT RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILTY Julie Schmidt, SES Program Director, and all other instructors affiliated with the 200-hour yoga teacher-training program, will be teaching with the knowledge that the participation in the program includes a practical component. Because the practical component of this course includes physical activity, completion of this Waiver of Liability form is required. Acknowledge that when performing the physical activities related to the practical component of this course, you may suffer injury. Student Waiver Agreement I _____________________________________ (print name) understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. As in the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. I will continue to breathe smoothly. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga.
