Based on Martha Ostenso's 1927 novel 'Wild Geese', this powerful production went on to win several awards. AGAINST ALL HOPE 1982 – Drama [Colour] Cecil Moe has a drinking problem that is threatening to destroy his marriage, his family and his very life. This delightful, tongue-in-cheek rendering of the classic Arabian Nights fable makes fine family entertainment. ALL THE KIND STRANGERS 1974 – Drama [Colour] In the backwoods of Tennessee, storm-stranded travelers are lured and held captive by six orphaned children who are deadly determined to find themselves a new ma and pa. If the strangers don't measure up, they might not survive. Stacy Keach, Samantha Eggar, star in this unusual and gripping family drama. THE AMAZING ADVENTURE 1937 – Drama Bored by his pampered existence, a wealthy London playboy (Cary Grant) wagers he can support himself for a whole year without recourse to his fortune. It proves more difficult than he supposed. AMERICAN EMPIRE 1942 - Drama (Violence) In the late 1870s, two ambitious riverboat captains (Preston Foster and Richard Dix) decide to become Texas cattlemen. Their huge success attracts the interest of a cheerful Cajun rustler with his own ambitions. Colourful characters and gunfights abound in this rousing frontier tale. AMERICAN PSYCHO 2000 - Mystery/Thriller (Violence and nudity) [Colour] His fiancée calls him her boy next door, but Patrick Bateman has a nasty little hobby she doesn't know about. An ultrahip Wall Street VP by day, he's a homicidal maniac by night. Christian Bale is mesmerizing in this stylish, wicked satire on '80s yuppies. ANATOMY OF AN ILLNESS 1984 – Drama [Colour] The true story of Norman Cousins, the editor of Saturday Review and his struggle with a mysterious ailment. Ed Asner stars as Cousins with Eli Wallach as his doctor. THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW 1963 - Comedy Four adventures with Andy Griffith as the Sheriff of Mayberry. 'Dogs, Dogs, Dogs': Sheriff Andy feeds a stray dog the lunch made for Barney (Don Knotts). The stray dog returns with 10 of his friends and the fun begins. 'Barney's First Car': Deputy Barney buys his first car from a sweet little old lady. Turns out she's the head of a car theft ring! One of the classic episodes. 'The Darlings Are Coming': the first of six episodes featuring the hilarious Darling family. 'The Great Filling Station Robbery': Jim Nabors appears as 'Gomer Pyle'.



4 ANGEL AND THE BADMAN 1947 - Drama (Violence) Wounded desperado Quirt Evans (John Wayne) is taken in by a Quaker family. Their comely daughter (Gail Russell) falls in love and begs him to renounce violence and marry her. But can he escape his past? This is the first film Wayne produced himself. As to the chemistry between Wayne and Russell, she was cited in his second divorce case, but he always denied there had been an affair. ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER 1946 - Drama To get his life back, a murdered gangster (Paul Muni) makes a deal with the Devil (Claude Rains) to destroy the reputation of a judge by taking over his body. As the judge, he spends his time trying to outwit Satan. THE ANIMAL KINGDOM 1932 – Comedy After years of leading a carefree life, Tom (Leslie Howard), gives up his artistic friends and his free-spirited love affair with Daisy Sage (Ann Harding) to improve appearances by marrying a New York socialite (Myrna Loy). But once the honeymoon is over Tom wonders if he's made the right choice. ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA 1974 – Drama [Colour] Beautiful Cleopatra tempts Marc Antony away from ruling Rome's Eastern Empire. With her backing, he battles his rival, Octavius Caesar, only to be abandoned in defeat. Cleopatra chooses death by snakebite rather than become a trophy of Rome. Hearing of her death, Antony kills himself. This Royal Shakespeare Company production stars Patrick Stewart and Corin Redgrave. ARCH OF TRIUMPH 1985 - Drama [Colour] A German doctor (Anthony Hopkins) escapes torture in a concentration camp and flees to pre-WWII Paris. There he falls in love with a singer (Lesley-Anne Down). But when he spots the vicious Gestapo torturer (Donald Pleasence) on a Paris street, he risks his happiness for vengeance. THE ART OF MURDER 1999 - Mystery/Thriller (Nudity, violence) [Colour] Married to a wealthy older man (Michael Moriarty), Elizabeth Sheridan (Joanna Pacula) is having an illicit affair with her husband's young partner. A blackmailer accosts her with incriminating photos and sets them all on a treacherous trail that leads to murder and betrayal. THE ART OF WAR 2000 - Action (Violence, coarse language, nudity) [Colour] Framed for the murder of the Chinese ambassador to the UN, secret agent Neal Shaw (Wesley Snipes) is pursued by the FBI and by a ruthless squad of Triad killers. Each step he takes draws him deeper into a web of treachery and deceit in this high-octane thriller. AS YOU LIKE IT 1936 - Comedy "All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players." This Shakespeare favourite features a fine ensemble cast including a young Laurence Olivier and a kittenish Elizabeth Bergner. THE ASTRAL FACTOR 1976 - Sci-Fi [Colour] A convicted serial strangler escapes from the state hospital for the criminally insane and sets out to settle a few scores. An edge-of-the-seat sci-fi thriller starring Stefanie Powers, Elke Sommer and Robert Foxworth. AT WAR WITH THE ARMY 1950 - Comedy Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis share their first star billing in this gag-filled farce. At the Stateside military base where Dean's a staff sergeant and Jerry's a mess cook, the two pals find themselves constantly in trouble with a loudmouth drill inspector, a conniving supply sergeant and a hen-pecked captain. BAD FAITH 2000 - Mystery/Thriller [Colour] When a city is crippled by a string of disappearances, its citizens have nowhere to turn. The police are plagued with inaction and the attorney general is interested only in political gain. A snitch has information, but he's protected by powerful friends. It's up to one reporter (Michael Moriarty) to investigate everyone involved. THE BALLAD OF ANDY CROCKER 1969 – Drama [Colour] Lee Majors and Jimmy Dean star in this landmark film, a thought-provoking drama about a decorated Vietnam veteran who returns home alive but discovers that the life he knew has forever changed.

With the aid of Sergeant Constable (Jackson Davies) and some hockey pros, Dave might save the day and Christmas. BEAT THE DEVIL 1954 - Comedy [Colour] A motley crew of con men trying to defraud and double-cross each other. An offbeat comedy directed by John Huston, with Humphrey Bogart, Peter Lorre and Gina Lollabrigida. BECKET 1964 - Drama [Colour] When the Archbishop of Canterbury dies, King Henry II (Peter O'Toole) has a brilliant idea. He promotes his old drinking buddy, Thomas Becket (Richard Burton), to the post. But there's something the King doesn't know about his friend Becket; he's an honest man. An outstanding movie, nominated for 12 Academy Awards. BECKY SHARP 1935 - Drama England in the early 1800s: after graduating from a stuffy girls' school, young Becky Sharp sets out to land herself a wealthy husband. This witty fast-paced adaptation of Thackeray's classic social satire Vanity Fair features a superb cast: Miriam Hopkins, Frances Dee, Cedric Hardwicke, Nigel Bruce and Alan Mowbray. THE BELLE STARR STORY 1967 - Drama [Colour] A handsome bandit meets his match in the beautiful and notorious Belle Starr. When he plans a robbery, Belle decides to beat him to the loot, and the sparks fly. This sophisticated Western gives a twist to the legend of the famous woman outlaw. BELLS OF SAN ANGELO 1945 – Action Texas Border Ranger Roy Rogers takes on a gang of smugglers with the able assistance of Dale Evans, Andy Devine and Trigger ("The Smartest Horse in the Movies"). With all the fistfights, chases and shootouts, there's barely time for a few toe-tapping tunes. BENEATH THE 12-MILE REEF 1953 – Action [Colour] Competition for the sponge trade off the coast of Florida heats up between two rival factions, and a young couple find their love and courage tested to the limit. Stars Robert Wagner, Gilbert Roland, Richard Boone, Peter Graves and Terry Moore. BETRAYED 2003 – Drama [Colour] In an effort to reinvent her life, Judy Bryce packs up her two children and returns to her hometown to be with the one man she can count on: her father. But when her father's drinking starts to affect his job testing the town's water supply, Judy's life takes a tragic turn. BEYOND JUSTICE 1992 – Action [Colour] A wealthy American businesswoman (Carol Alt) hires a mercenary (Rutger Hauer) to rescue her son. The boy's grandfather, a powerful Arabian Emir (Omar Sharif) has chosen his grandson as his successor. BIG BEAR 1998 - Drama (Parts 1&2) [Colour] The epic story of Big Bear, visionary chief of the Plains Cree, struggling to lead his people to safety through the arrival of the white man and the vanishing of their ancient ways. THE BIG CAT 1949 – Action In the mountains of Utah during the Great Depression, a young man from Philadelphia finds his courage and convictions tested to the limit. Preston Foster and Forrest Tucker star in this coming-of-age drama. THE BIG COMBO 1955 – Drama [Colour] Police Lt. Diamond (Cornel Wilde) is told to close surveillance of suspected mob boss Mr. Brown (Richard Conte). It's costing the department too much money. Diamond makes one last attempt against Brown by using his secret weapon, Brown's girlfriend, Susan Lowell (Jean Wallace). Highly recommended. THE BIG LIFT 1950 – Drama Filming in Germany against the backdrop of the Berlin Airlift adds historical interest to this story of an American flyboy (Montgomery Clift) who falls in love amid the bombed-out ruins of post-WWII Berlin. But can love survive the misery and deception left in the wake of war?



6 THE BIG TREES 1952 - Action [Colour] In the early 1900s, homesteading Quakers are pitted against a maverick lumber baron (Kirk Douglas) who seeks easy money in California's giant redwoods owned by the homesteaders. This action-packed western builds to a spectacular climax. THE BIGAMIST 1953 - Drama Edmond O'Brien, Joan Fontaine and Ida Lupino star in this quietly compelling drama with adult themes. BLACK BRIGADE 1969 - Drama [Colour] A U.S. Army captain is assigned to lead a unit of black soldiers with no combat experience on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. Richard Pryor, Billy Dee Williams star in this tense WWII drama. BLACK WATER GOLD 1969 - Action [Colour] A marine archaeologist (Keir Dullea) and a Mexican historian (Ricardo Montalban) join forces with a young salvage expert to find a sunken Spanish treasure ship. They discover that they have competition: a ruthless millionaire (Bradford Dillman) who will stop at nothing - including murder - to beat them to the gold. BLOOD AND GUNS 1968 - Drama (Violence) [Colour] After rescuing a rebel leader from a Mexican firing squad, an English doctor finds himself embroiled in a lastditch effort to save the revolution from a corrupt president. A fine and bloody tale of rebellion and revenge, starring Orson Welles, John Steiner and Tomas Milian. BLOOD ON THE SUN 1945 - Mystery/Thriller In pre-WWII Tokyo, an American journalist uncovers a Japanese plot for world domination. An action-packed espionage thriller with excellent performances by James Cagney and Sylvia Sydney. Cagney adds martial arts skills to his usual two fisted talents. BLUE STEEL / THE DAWN RIDER 1934/1935 - Drama (Violence) A double bill of early John Wayne Westerns. In the first, the young star has to track down a notorious thief and stop a gang of outlaws from terrorizing a small town. In the second, he trains his sights on the ruthless bandit who killed his father during a bloody robbery. BOLLYWOOD/HOLLYWOOD 2002 – Comedy [Colour] Wonderful spoof of 'Bollywood' musicals spiced with surprises and marvellous music. Under heavy family pressure to marry a nice Indian girl, Rahul, a dashing young Toronto millionaire, persuades a local beauty named Sue to pose as his Indian fiancée. A witty and wicked fairytale from director Deepa Mehta. BONANZA 1959 – Drama [Colour] Two classic episodes from the much-loved TV series starring Lorne Greene, Michael Landon, Pernell Roberts and Dan Blocker. In Escape to Ponderosa, the Cartwrights defend two deserters from a vindictive army officer. In The Bloodline, Ben becomes the target of a troubled youth bent on misguided revenge. BORDER COP 1979 - Action [Colour] When a Mexican couple runs afoul of the local crime boss and his migrant worker smuggling operation, a U.S. border cop defies his corrupt superior and goes after the crime boss. Unaware of their mutual tasks, they gather evidence, each becoming more certain the other agent is involved in crime.

Stars James Brolin and Jacqueline Bisset. CAPTAIN KIDD 1945 – Action 1699: William Kidd (Charles Laughton), the notorious buccaneer, sets out to buy his way into the House of Lords. He's opposed by his former partners (John Carradine and Gilbert Roland) and then by a mysterious exconvict (Randolph Scott). An action movie with outstanding performances by a great cast. CAPTAIN SCARFACE 1953 - Mystery/Thriller Fleeing from a jealous husband, an American (Leif Erickson) discovers the freighter he's escaped on is part of a plot to blow up the Panama Canal. Suspected by the cunning captain (Barton MacLane) and watched by the crew, he searches desperately for a way to thwart the deadly scheme. CAPTAIN SCARLETT 1953 - Action [Colour] When his lands are stolen by an unscrupulous duke with a private army, a nobleman, renowned for his billowing bright red cape and stunning swordsmanship, decides to teach the usurper a few lessons. THE CAPTURE 1950 - Drama (Violence) After Lin Vanner (Lew Ayres) shoots a suspect in a payroll robbery, he begins to wonder if he's killed the wrong man. This made-for-TV movie stars Steve Forrest as Hawkeye and the excellent Ned Romero as Chingachgook. THE LAST TIME I SAW PARIS 1954 – Drama [Colour] In Paris after WWII, a handsome reporter (Van Johnson) meets an attractive expatriate (Donna Reed) and then, to her lasting chagrin, falls madly in love with her ravishing younger sister (Elizabeth Taylor). Taylor and Reed are both excellent but Walter Pidgeon steals the show as their father.

A TOUCH OF PINK 2004 – Comedy [Colour] An engaging romantic comedy about Alim, a gay Muslim man, and a visit from his conservative mother. He asks his imaginary friend Cary Grant for advice, then persuades his live-in lover Giles to pose as his roommate. But Giles soon tires of this ruse and Alim has to choose between his lover and his family. TRAPPED 1949 - Drama A film noir thriller, fast-paced and full of surprises; when bogus money starts turning up, the Secret Service arranges the release of a convicted counterfeiter (Lloyd Bridges), hoping he will lead them to the plates. But our counterfeiter has his own agenda and Bridges performs one of his best movie roles.

Bambino (Bud Spence) and younger brother Trinity (Terrence Hill) join forces against corrupt monks, a Texas land baron and a bandit chieftain. Even funnier than the first Trinity Western, this spaghetti sequel keeps its tongue firmly in cheek while delivering action, laughs and smarts. TRUE GRIT: A Further Adventure 1978 – Western [Colour] Warren Oates appears as Marshall „Rooster‟ Cogburn, battling injustice in his own quirky way. He has his hands full when a teenage girl he‟s protecting gets set on reforming him. TULSA 1949 - Drama Can a cattleman's daughter become the "Oil Queen" and still remain true to her heritage? Susan Hayward is outstanding in the starring role and Robert Preston, Chill Wills and Ed Begley round out a fine cast. THE TUNNEL 2000 – Drama [Colour] A gang hijacks a train for $90 million in diamonds and escapes in a tunnel. Their plan is to seal in the train and its passengers with bombs. The agent guarding the diamonds (Daniel Baldwin) has other ideas. THE TURN OF THE SCREW 1974 – Horror [Colour] Lynn Redgrave appears as the English governess Jane Cubberly in this adaptation of the Henry James psycho-drama. Hired to care for two adorable orphans, Ms. Cubberly finds they are not at all what they seem. TWO OF HEARTS 1999 - Drama [Colour] Veterinarian Molly Saunders (Gail O'Grady) meets sentimental sportscaster Jake Michaelson (Rob Stewart) at the wedding of their former spouses. The two fall in love and their families mix like oil and water. TWO THOUSAND AND NONE 2000 - Drama [Colour] Palaeontologist Benjamin Kasparian (John Turturro) learns he has an incurable fatal brain disease and decides to make the most of the rest of his life. Turturro has won many acting awards, including an Emmy, and he's in fine form here. UNCOMMON VALOR 1983 – Action [Colour] Gene Hackman is Colonel Cal Rhodes who leads a group of fellow vets back to Vietnam to find his son. UNDISPUTED 2001 - Action (Violence and coarse language) [Colour] An aging mob boss (Peter Falk) arranges a fight between a prison's champ (Wesley Snipes), serving a life sentence for murder, and a heavyweight title-holder (Ving Rhames), who's been sent up for rape. THE UPTURNED GLASS 1947 – Mystery/Thriller Dr. Michael Joyce (James Mason) falls in love with the grateful mother of one of his patients. When the patient‟s husband reappears in her life, she ends the affair with Dr. Joyce. Before long the doctor discovers his lover has died in a mysterious fall. He begins to track the killer with no intention of helping the police. THE VELVET DEVIL 2006 – Drama [Colour] On a night in 1945, singing sensation "The Velvet Devil" is performing at the legendary Hippodrome. In the middle of her signature tune, a premonition disrupts her performance, followed by a telegram wtih terrible news. As The Velvet Devil follows the news in the telegram home, buried memories begin to return. VENDETTA FOR THE SAINT 1969 – Mystery/Thriller [Colour] Simon Templar is in a Naples bar when he witnesses a mêlée between two men. The next morning he reads in the newspapers that one of the men has been murdered. Templar‟s investigation drags him down into the world of the Sicilian Mafia and nobody seems willing to help him.

WONDERLAND 2000 – Mystery/Thriller (Violence, coarse language) [Colour] Confronted with a house full of corpses, Los Angeles detectives have only two sources: a legendary porn star turned junkie, and a drug-dealing biker. A solid, adult thriller based on a true story.
