Justice For Children (JFC) is a nationally renowned public benefit corporation with headquarters in Houston, Texas and offices in Washington, D.C., Michigan and Arizona. Founded in 1987 by Randy Burton, a former Chief Prosecutor of the Family Offenses Section of the Harris County (Texas) District Attorney's office and a group of concerned citizens, JFC advocates for abused and neglected children failed by child protective systems and the courts. JFC is dedicated to ensuring the meaningful and informed application of the law for their protection. To that end, JFC works to develop and implement collaborative solutions to entrenched social and legal problems impacting the quality of our children's lives. JFC's mission is to protect these children from further abuse and to defend each child's right to grow up in a safe and loving environment.
