FALL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS Cash & Carry Arts & Crafts Show for 2009 SPONSORED BY: ACANTHUS ART SOCIETY, ART AMBIENCE, DOWNRIVER ARTS & CRAFTS GUILD, DOWNRIVER COUNCIL OF THE ARTS Call for Entries: Eligibility: Open to artists 18 years and older. Medium: Original artwork and crafts only (prints permitted for postcards and note cards only). No commercial molds, patterns or kits; no resale of purchased items. Artists are encouraged to enter small items for holiday gifts and to keep the price as low as possible and maintain their own insurance. Entry Requirements and Limitations: Artists may enter 2 hanging pieces of artwork or 3-dimensional pieces, and 10 pieces of jewelry or craft items (artwork no larger than 36 inch in circumference). All hanging artwork will be limited to 104 inches in circumference (including mat and frame) and 3 dimensional works not to exceed 48 inches perimeter for base. Hanging artwork must be framed, wired from hooks at each side and ready for hanging, no saw tooth hangers allowed, 3-dimensional pieces must be prepared for proper display. The committee reserves the right to reject unprepared entries and questionable work. Tables will be provided for small items (i.e. jewelry, sculpture, glass, etc.). Picture (larger than 16x20) must be framed with Plexiglass. NO NUDES ALLOWED. No artwork will be accepted without a label with artist name, title and price. No changes will be allowed after Call for Entry is submitted.
