MLS is slow, also, the print process is cumbersome. For example, why is it necessary to have to select the listings on
the grid print after you have already selected the properties that you want to print? The KIM website is also slow and
nonresponsive a lot of the time.

handwritten note! I really wish there were a way to apply some old-fashioned tried & true ways. We have created more
paper, not less despite what we're told in most cases.

I want to get my PDA and my laptop hooked up to the MLS, but I don't know how to do it.
I would like more knowledge to use some of these items.
Zip forms software is too slow to load, sometimes is unaccessible, and has too many "run time errors". If I am preparing
for a listing apppointment, I want to be able to count on completing and printing contracts reliably. Also, it takes too long
to load if I just want a single form (like a Counter offer) so I frequently just use the manual form.
MLXchange platform is poorly designed and outdated. Having to use Microsoft VM instead of standard java is limiting.
Interface is not great and not being an MDI (multiple windows open) type of architecture is also limiting.
The reason for the phone frustration is low signal and many dropped calls.

I was very disappointed in upgrading my PALM for the Supra ekey. It had so many problems that I discontinued the
monthly service and now use the simple DisplayKey. I'm leary about upgrading to the new Treo based on that

The membership should be able to vote on new technologies brought in before they are forced upon us. The cost of
doing business is getting more and more prohibitive to many agents. Not all agents are top producers. GLVAR should
take notice to the number of agents that leave the business each month and be proactive in retaining members. We
need to change the mentality of membership also. Do a membership survey. I am sure that you will find that many
members find GLVARs function to be a policing division to the membership(fines,dues,etc.) rather than seeing any

There are so many of us in Las Vegas, we should have great discounts negotiated for us for the tech stuff. So far, even
the devices announced as compartible with mlxchange, are in fact not compartible. For example TMobile MDA should
be able to access MLS but it doesn't. Also, there should be a list of recommended laptops, portable printers, maybe
portable scanners, etc. If anything is recommended through NAR it has outrageous price tag on it that screams "you
are a realtor - pay up" :-) It could be a good business - sell realtors realtor-oriented products, but please - be

The local MLS should quit spending money trying to upgrade our MLS to one that has all the bells & whistles that other
MLS's have. Our main concern is to search for property, it's not brain surgery!!
Please take immediate action against agents stealing copyrighted images from LMS preview for listings. I personally
had to hire an attorney to force the agent to stop stealing my images and using them to create her self-promoting
brochure (her and her sales efforts). I paid nearly $400 to have this rectified, and MLS does nothing about preventing
agents from being able to right-click, copy an paste in their files (i.e.e STEALING). All images are copyright protected
under the federal law and MLS has not taken any steps to prevent this kind of usurpatory action, being in fact just as
liable for breaking the law. Your programmers know how to disable the right-click, so ask them to do it. THese are the
kind of things you should fine people for, not some idiotic word put in a wrong field. How petty and shortsighted of an
organization of this stature.
Tech is going to bury the usefulness of the MLS through the deluge of spam from both agents, and the MLS itself.

I am not into computer technology and have a friend help me with this.
I have customers complaining they don't receive the data from MLS or photos. Also,

they cannot open our emails sent through MLS software. Why does this happen? No way to
obtain a return receipt from emailing through MLS software. Very frustrating!!!
I want to access MLS from other networks when travelling but can't because other networks will not allow download of
activeX controls or other scripts. Can we have version available w/out all bells & whistles?
