$20.00 FOR FIRST ENTRY OF A DOG IN A Regular Class, including AKC recording fee. $12.00 for additional entry of the same dog in a Regular Class. Rally Entry Fees Each Day: $20.00 as first entry and $12.00 as additional entry of same dog, including AKC recording fee. Entries will not be accepted unless on a signed official AKC entry form. All fees must be enclosed. No entry will be accepted, canceled or changed after the closing date. Telephone and telegraph entries cannot be accepted. Overnight parking at the trial site is NOT allowed. There is NO room for RVs. The building will be air conditioned for the dogs’ comfort. Drinks will be available on the premises. Restaurants are available close by. Bitches that come in season after the closing of entries will be allowed a refund, minus $10 for weekend, provided the Trial Secretary has writen notice prior to the trial. Dogs should be present at least ½ hour prior to judging and will be excused immediately after the class unless needed for further judging. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the Trial committee, it is impossible to open or complete the Trial, no refund of entry will be made. “A recording fee of $1.50 will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This recording fee is to be collected by the Show Giving Club and paid to the AKC. DIRECTIONS TO SITE From the North: Take I75 South and get on I275 where it splits just south of the Exit at Hwy 56. Continue on I275 to the Hillsborough Avenue Exit. Make a right (West) onto Hillsborough Avenue (US 92). Follow Hillsborough to Lois (about a 1/4 of a mile west of the Dale Mabry overpass). Make a left at the light onto N. Lois. The club is two blocks south on the left at 4817 N. Lois. From the West/South: Take 275 North to Dale Mabry East (North Bound). Going North on Dale Mabry make a left (West) onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd which is just after the stadium. Make a right onto Lois. The club will be on the right in a couple blocks or so. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. However, prior to arbitration all applicable AKC Bylaws, rules, regulations and procedures must first be followed as set forth in the AKC Charter and Bylaws, rules, regulations, published policies and guidelines. INSTRUCTIONS (Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e. Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, particolor), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (long-haired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a trial closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any trial for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC. Any additional commands to the dog, however, will be penalized. Upon check-in at ringside, tell the steward which exercise you wish to skip. The judge will excuse you from thatspecific exercise, while giving you a perfect score for that skipped exercise. You may, if you wish, do all exercises, without skipping any, and your score will be marked on all exercises. The point values for the exercises, scoring and maximum total points are the same as in the regular Novice class. You may, if you wish, do all exercises, without skipping any, and your score will be marked on all exercises. Handlers will be allowed to talk to their dogs During the exercises (except during the signal exercise) without penalty, as long as no additional command for the exercise is given.
