Statement of Values
Dear Applicant: Welcome to The Restaurant featuring The Other Room. Prior to completing the application for employment, please understand that we are serious about creating a productive working environment for our staff and maintaining the highest levels of quality, service and attention for our guests. We want you to understand that we also believe in living our values, some of which are:  We believe that good enough isn’t.  We believe in doing business in a professional and orderly manner.  We believe in honesty and integrity.  We believe that only a happy and professional staff can give the level of personal service we demand.  We believe in the ongoing training and development of our staff and see it as a worthy investment in the future of the company.  We believe in providing legendary service – the unique and powerful sort of personal care and attention that our guests tell stories about.  We believe that everyone is capable of being an A+ player. A little about us: This is our second restaurant; the first is Michel’s Ville Grille in Historic University Place, Lincoln. The menu will be very similar to Michel’s Ville Grille-an American Grill-but with a more extensive dinner menu. This will include more options of steak, seafood and chicken. Some of the items we are already known for are our hand-battered Chicken Strips, Broasted Chicken, legendary Reuben Sandwiches, slow roasted Hot Beef, and hand-pattied Burgers. We believe it is possible to have great food and exceptional service at a reasonable price for our guests. This area of town could benefit from a nice, casual sit-down restaurant which we know we can provide. “The Other Room” will be a full service bar available to “The Restaurant” and open as just a bar every evening. We are serious about business but like to have fun in the process. If this sounds like an environment you would like to be a part of then please complete the attached application. Sincerely,

Deb & Mike Michel, Owners
