   What are synthetic opiates?
• Opiates are narcotic anaingestic that
  contains either natural or synthetic
  opiates. It’s naturally used to alleviate
  pain medically. The opiates known as
  codeine, hyclrocodiene, and
  oxycodone are synthesized from
  morphine.
                             Effects
Side Effects: Sleepiness, concentration
difficulties, slowed breathing, blurry vision, slight
anxiety, nausea and vomiting
Effects on Brain: Opioids briefly stimulate the
higher centres of the brain but then depress
activity of the central nervous system.
Immediately after injection of an opioid into a
vein, the user feels a surge of pleasure or a
"rush."
