July 2009 Dear Friends: We hope that you are enjoying your summer. With luck, we should have some nice weather from now until late August! My apologies for not sending out a newsletter for quite awhile. Due to illness in my family and work commitments, I just seem to run out of steam.
NEW Oh 4 BISQUE
We have had a couple of new Oh 4 Bisque offerings. Check them out on line at www.duncanceramics.com or stop in at the shop for a flyer. Some of the pieces have flown off the shelves but we can order more in for you.
NANCY’S CLASSROOM RENTAL
Do you need a large enough space to hold a meeting, a birthday party or a wedding shower? Nancy’s classroom is available for rent. Give Nancy a call for available dates and times. DUNCAN U SEMINARS If any of you have students interested in taking the Essentials, please let us know so we can get their names on the list. We have scheduled the Essentials for this fall as follows: Essentials 101 Saturday, September 12, 2009 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Essentials 102 Sunday, September 13, 2009 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Essentials 103 Saturday, October 17, 2009 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Essentials 104 Sunday, October 18, 2009 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM We have finally received the new Duncan U Seminars that were promised. There are seven courses with the theme of “World of Creativity”. If you complete all seven classes, Duncan will award a bonus credit for a total of 8 credits toward your Duncan University Awards.
